Hello and welcome to Kipper!  50 years ago Dave (9) met Neil (10) on a school trip to Edinburgh. “Will you be my fwend?” asked Dave. “Okay,” replied Neil as he sucked on a cigarette, “But only if you get rid of that awful lisp. It's so immature.” Cut to 50 years later and it turns out that not only did Dave never have a lisp, but Neil didn't start smoking until he was 19! What is true is that Dave and Neil have shared a love of art, illustration, cartoons and comics for the length of their 50 year old friendship. After working in publishing, music and advertising they decided it was time to do something together. So they did and KIPPER was born!  (Why call it Kipper? Well that's another story)
